note to self: aftersleep's IRC went down with the website too

PS: OH YEAH I FORGOT! I don't know of any *forums* that work on the 3DS, but IRC still exists! The people that lurk wolp also used to go on the #aftersleep channel of irc.rizon.net - i'll try to be there from time to time, but i still haven't set up a bouncer so I dunno if we'll meet up properly lol.

Anyway, IRC is your best bet for communication over 3DS. I also hear there's a miiverse revival going on, but that's not the same type of thing lol

Yeahhhhh no, sorry lad. The 3DS is very limited, especially considering it can't use https these days. If you manage to get a hosting service, you will be able to send html files to the server with FTPD (homebrew app). As you may imagine, though, hosting services will probably require both an e-mail and money.

I don't know any forums that work on a 3DS. Again, aftersleep used to (still needed an email though), but that's long gone. Imo best you can do is go to a library and work from there: make an email, make a github account, set up a "github pages" website (or go with neocities)

Also, do you know any forums that work on 3ds and don't require an email? I don't have access to an email or any device better than a 3ds. You seem like you'd know, and uh... you're kind of the only person i have online contact with. This is the first site i found i can post things on.

I would make my own website, but... I'm on a dang 3ds. My mom hyper restricts my internet access. I always wanted to make my own website to store my stuff (such as my 721 OCs, pixel art, stories, and video game progress) and show it off, and this website you made is pretty similar in structure to what i always imagined, organized like a library, just i'd have it be black like my hoodie and red like my hair
unless theres some way to make a website for free on a 3ds i think i'll have to wait until i get a job & computer

Yeah. Aftersleep is gone now though, some of its netizens have moved to wolp.world, and that's a cool place in itself. I should find more fora, but at the same time I've started living more IRL recently, so maybe I don't need more than one place to be xD

On the "how" i made this, there is a whole "making of" section, but in short I originally made this site with raw HTML and CSS, though now I'm using PHP for stuff like page structure and whatnot. Someday I'll get around to making the theme change with the calendar (have a working python script but i haven't made the time to port it to PHP yet)

You should make a website too! It's always great to see what people post online

Nevermind I found out how, seems like you found a small community to call home in the form of aftersleep. I also have my own favorite small community like that in the form of the terraria community forums
i love small communities they have a very high friend ratio it's like living in a small village where your neighbors bring you hot soup when you're sick
